Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has named a strong squad for the second-leg clash with Shakhtar Donetsk in Poland, the temporary home for the Ukrainian football club.

The Los Blancos are returning from a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Getafe on the road to keep their unbeaten run. 

Real Madrid earned a 2-1 win over the Ukrainians at the Santiago Bernabéu last midweek.

Goalkeepers: Lunin, Luis López and Cañizares. 

Defenders: Carvajal, Militão, Alaba, Vallejo, Nacho, Odriozola, Rüdiger and F. Mendy.

Midfielders: Kroos, Modrić, Camavinga, Valverde, Lucas V. and Tchouameni.

Forwards: Hazard, Benzema, Asensio, Vini Jr., Rodrygo and Mariano

Thibaut Courtois continued his recovery and left Real Madrid’s goalie in safe hands. Andriy Lunin has been outstanding since he took over the role of Belgian goalkeeper.

Benzema returned for Los Blancos and was available against Getafe but fired blank as his goal drought continued.
