Barcelona has announced the departure of Brazilian soccer star Rafinha to record French Ligue 1 Champions Paris Saint Germain on a free transfer.
The Catalan club agreed to sell the former Barcelona hitman to the Parisians after the Brazilian entered his final contract year with the club without making an extension.
Rafinha spent several seasons at Barca, but the new revolution in the club has favoured the youth setup.
Rafinha’s move to the French capital club was officially announced through the club’s official Twitter handle at about 11:30 pm, thirty minutes after the transfer window was officially closed for the summer.
