NPFL 2020/2021 matchday 1 fixtures, preview, how to watch

2020/2021 Nigerian Professional Football League kicks off on Sunday across various centres in the country.

The new league which was expected to begin earlier than the recent date was cancelled last season as a result of effects of the coronavirus pandemic, which affected the nation’s football in general.

To determine the winner, or who takes the available continental places, the NFF and the LMC introduced the point-per-game system to help the teams in terms of positioning and no team got relegated from the division.
