Following the elimination from the UEFA Champions League by Galatasaray, NK Olimpija will continue their European adventure in the UEFA Europa League.

The Icelandic side will host Azerbaijani football giants Qarabag at the Stadion Stožice.

Olimpija could play in Europe this season despite the exit from the UCL. Ahead of Thursday’s fixture, Olimpija earned a dramatic win over Aluminij. Head coach Joao Henriques is expected to strengthen his defence after conceding seven goals in three matches.

Qarabag FK edged past Finish side HJK over two legs to book their place in the playoffs. The Azerbaijani side are returning from a 2-1 win over Araz ahead of Thursday’s clash.
