New York City FC and Santos De Guapiles will battle for a place in the quarter-finals. Although the MLS side is in pole position, the Costa Rican side still has a point to prove when they visit the States.
Valentín Castellanos is no doubt for the clash at the Blanc of American Stadium. The Argentine was electric and is expected to be the main man in the second leg.
Santos de Guapiles have a long day ahead against the MLS side with two goals left to be overturned. The manager played a 4-5-1 formation which did not work for his team.
However, the chances are still open for Santos de Guapiles.
Prediction
New York City FC is in pole position ahead of the second leg clash at home. Two first half goals from Valentín Castellanos was more than enough for me, the MLS side, to move an inch closer to the next round.
Santos de Guapiles, on the other hand, must prove themselves for a place in the quarter-finals.
