Monaco Coach Niko Kovac praises Kylian Mbappe ahead of 2021 French Cup final
Head coach of AS Monaco Niko Kovac has heaped praises on PSG hitman Kylian Mbappe even as the two teams prepare for a showdown.
Speaking ahead of the game in a Press conference on Tuesday, Niko Kovac was asked about how he plans to stop Kylian Mbappe who’s been PSG’s best performer since the start of the season.
According to Kovac, he believes a single player cannot stop the french star.
“I believe that today, Mbappé is the best player in the world, a single player cannot stop him, we have to do that collectively. As we did during the match at the Parc des Princes (0-2 victory, ” said the Croatian as per Foot Mercato.
“PSG is a very good team, with a very good coach, we know what to expect tomorrow.
It’s true, it’s a very important week, but the calendar is what it is, I’m not complaining, we are living in strange times, all over the world. My team is well prepared, I have no fear of physical problem.
All our players are available, we have enough qualities, on the bench too. We will first play tomorrow and then we will see for Sunday, ” added the Monaco manager.
AS Monaco will tackle PSG in the 2021 French Cup on Thursday night after PSG will battle for the league title in a final match against Brest on Sunday.
