French Ligue 1 record Champions Paris Saint Germain has announced the signing of Everton out of favour attacker Moise Kean on loan without an option to buy according to PSG official website via Fussball Transfers.
The Parisians brings the Italian as a temporal replacement for the already departed Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Edison Cavani.
The 20-year old Italian who was ones a promising talent at Juventus only moved to the English Premier League last summer.
However, he only plays a minor role under Carlo Ancelotti who has since turned the fortunes of the club around, winning his first four matches of the 2020/21 season.
Since his arrival at Everton, Kean has had over 37 appearances with four goals in the process. Ancelotti has since found the solution with the arrival of Allan, James Rodriguez with the brilliance of Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Our View – Temporal replacement worth an experiment
The coronavirus pandemic had caused lots of problems at the French capital club, preventing them from making major moves in the transfer market including a failed loan bid for Dele Alli from Tottenham.
Kean is a short term replacement which the club doesn’t see as an asset to build for the future, although Everton on the other may not be willing to sell the 20-year old at this time.
