MLS Top Scorers 2022
Last season, Valentín Castellanos emerged top scorer of the league after scoring 19 goals. The New York City FC forward was in fine form throughout the season as the New York-based side edged the Portland Timbers to their first-ever MLS Cup trophy.
The league’s 27 season begins in February 2022 and will climax in November.
Who has scored the most goals in an MLS season?
Mexican soccer star Carlos Vela scored a record 34 goals in a single season to emerge top. He currently holds the record as the only player with the highest number of goals scored to date.
