Top teams to watch in each conference
Eastern Conference
Atlanta United: Last season was not convincing enough for the fans who expected more than normal from the team.
With a few flashes that were seen last campaign, the fans are looking out for a better outing in 2021.
Last season, the team failed to reach the playoffs round which was a too disappointing experience.
Columbus Crew: The crews were crowned Champions of the MLS Cup after an impressive run throughout the playoffs phase.
For the team from Columbus, it was another big experience and achievement made.
As the 2021 season takes centre stage, the team is expected to possibly defend the title which they won last season.
D.C United: One of the early Champions and most respected side in the division, D.C United are beginning to return to its old ways of winning.
More expected in 2021
Inter Miami CF: Started on a poor note in its debut season but finished strong, Miami CF partly owned by David Beckham are expected to take the league by storm after recruiting top players to the team.
Even with the club’s current status, the top hierarchy still does not rule out signing some of the best players in the world soonest.
Western Conference
Austin FC: Austin FC has shown they have the physical and mental strength to challenge for honours in the league.
They started the preseason and ended on a much brighter note.
As things stand currently, Austin FC is not lacking quality goal scorers capable of banging the goals week in week out.
Los Angeles FC: Arguably one of the best teams in the Major League Soccer lately. LAFC are exciting to watch.
LA Galaxy: The club has shifted focus to the new season after failing to impress during the last campaign.
Seattle Sounders: Sounders is another topside to check.
