Michael cuisance: Marseille will not keep him permanently at the club
It appears the future of Michael Cuisance at Marseille is currently heading towards the brick wall even as the expiration of his loan spell draws closer to the end.
Marseille signed the Bayern Munich man back in October 2020 on loan at least till the end of the current so he would help solve the team’s midfield problems.
From the start, he future with Bayern Munich was crystal clear that he has a future with the club. However, the abundance of midfielders has forced Bayern coach to make decisions quickly.
The only way he could get regular playtime is to play outside the club which was the best option for the club at that time.
Thankfully, the French team were at alert when it was made known as to how the young Frenchman future would be heading to.

Moving to France last year hasn’t particularly ended up just like how one would expect of him.
At Bayern Munich, if he had remained with the club, his role would have been solely on the bench which coach Hansi flick wants to avoid, which led to his immediate transfer.
Already, it had appeared that his place in the first team is already written off. There’s no way he would break into the first team with quality players present.
Moving to Olympique Marseille on loan
Michael Cuisance was officially unveiled by Marseille’s hierarchy as the club’s new signing ahead of the 2020/2021 season. The expectations were spelt out, he is expected to bring his best to helps Marseille problematic midfield which needed a team.
Although it was not clear as to whether the French team would have to buy him permanently which was only dependent on how he was going to perform at his new club.
Marseille not considering a permanent deal anymore
The one-time French Ligue 1 Champions are no longer considering a permanent offer for Michael Cuisance who still has a working contract with his parent club Bayern Munich.

But why is Marseille not considering a permanent future with Cuisance? As per the club’s valuation of the player, he is not convincing just like how they were expecting him to be.
As a result, they’re not considering buying him permanently. Meaning Bayern Munich will have to find a new buyer or probably loan him elsewhere other than the French club at this point.
Michael Cuisance stats and why clubs are bothered about him
With over 20 appearances for the club in the French Ligue 1, he could only manage two goals which appear to be poor stats for a talented player who has been tipped to be at the highest level.
He has struggled to meet up even though the coach of the french club had always decided to feature him in important matches.
Cuisance wants to stay but there’s a problem besides his wish
The current asking price set by Bayern Munich is currently too expensive in the eyes of the French Ligue 1 side. The Bundesliga record Champions are demanding between 10 to 18 million euros for a permanent deal.
These demands are too high for the French club, coupled with his dismal performance. Although he had stepped up his game in recent matches.
However, it would take Bayern Munich to reduce its asking price before Olympique Marseille would consider keeping Michael Cuisance permanently at the club.
According to Fussball Transfers, Marseille may not consider keeping the Bayern Munich man permanently with them except there’s a change in their asking price.
Marseille is currently fighting better place in the standings at least before the season comes to an end so they would be on the European continent once again.
