Mexico vs Honduras TV channel: USA, UK and players to watch
Following the disappointing performance in the CONCACAF Nations League, The El Tri will look to make amends in the Gold Cup opener against Honduras at NRG Stadium.
Mexico are record Champions of the Gold Cup with eleven titles. However, the last time they won it was in 2019, although they were finalists in 2021.
El Tri interim head coach Jaime Lozano is expected to make amends as they eye their first title since 2019.
Honduras on the other hand were beaten 4-1 by Canada in their last competitive outing in the Nations League. They’ve won the competition once throughout their history.

Santiago Gimenez is one of the biggest goal threats of El Tri. The 22-year old Feyenoord fired blank in the win over Panama.
