Melbourne Victory will hope to continue from last weekend’s success at Sydney FC when they take Western Sydney Wanderers in week two of the A-League Men soccer season at Melbourne Rectangular Stadium.
D’Agostino, Oikonomidis, and Brillante were on target to help the Victory snatch the win on the road.
Western Sydney Wanderers, on the other hand, earned a slim win over Perth Glory to kick off the new season on a bright note.

Melbourne Victory are second on the log but could shoot themselves back to the top with a convincing result against WS Wanderers on Saturday evening.
The club’s head coach, Tony Popovic, expects home support as the Victory plays their home game of the season.
“We’re hearing there will be a good crowd with away fans as well. That’s encouraging, it’s great for our game and great for this stadium.”
“It’s what we want as a code to get fans into the stadium and create a great atmosphere that we felt last week and I’m sure our fans and members will replicate it this week.” Popović told the club’s official website.
Chris Ikonomidis was exceptional in Victory’s impressive victory over Sydney FC last weekend. The 27-year-old forward is expected to start the game.
