La Liga teams qualified for Europa League 2023/2024
Sevilla was crowned champions of the 2022/2023 UEFA Europa League as Spanish teams continued their dominance in the second-tier European football competition.
The Los Nervionenses clinched the title against AS Roma on the spot after regulation time ended in a draw. The result saw the Andalusian-based club lift its seventh Europa League title.

According to UEFA club coefficients, Spain has two slots in the UEL that will be available to teams that finished 5th and winners of the Copa del Rey.
However, if the team that won the Copa del Rey has already qualified for the Champions League, it will be handed to the next team on the table at the end of the season.
For the 2023/2024 season, Villarreal CF and Real Betis will be Spain’s representatives in the Europa League.

Villarreal CF
Villarreal are not new to the terrain. The Yellow Submarines won the title in 2020–21 against Manchester United on penalties.
Quique Setién’s side finished 5th at the end of the season in a rather disappointing fashion, missing out on the chance to play in the UCL. Real Betis took the remaining ticket for the competition.
