King Power Stadium, also referred to as the Leicester City Stadium, is a state-of-the-art football stadium in Leicester, England. The stadium, which was first opened on July 23, 2002, has served as Leicester City’s and Leicester City Women’s home ground ever since. It served as the site of the 2009 UEFA European Under-21 Championship Group 3 match.

The King Power Stadium has four connected stands that create a more intense and intimidating environment when the team is performing well. Away fans are situated in the ground corner, between the North Stand and the East Stand.

There are several seats designated for supporters with disabilities, and the stands are of the same height. The North Stand is where families and groups with children can sit. It can hold up to 5000 people. The more devoted Leicester City supporters can be found in the South Stand. It has a capacity of 7500.
The Fosse Club, Leicester’s hospitality area, and the seats reserved for dignitaries and special guests are located in the West Stand. It can hold about 7000 people.
Capacity
The King Power Stadium, with a capacity of 36,232, is England’s 19th largest football stadium. Though it doesn’t have as much history as places with more renowned legacies, like Anfield or Old Trafford, it made witness history when Leicester shocked everyone by winning the English Premier League at odds of 5000/1.
According to the proposals, the stadium’s capacity will rise to 40,000 by adding the new East Stand.
Location
The King Power is located along the banks of the River Soar and a 30 minutes walk from the city centre. The King Power Stadium is simple to get to. Road and rail connections are close to the stadium because it is only a 15 to 20-minute walk from the city centre.
Facilities
The King Power boasts all the amenities you would anticipate and is one of the Premier League’s more modern stadiums. One can almost likely find whatever you’re looking for at Leicester City’s stadium, from places to eat and drink to superb disabled facilities.
On the intersection of the North & West Stands, the KP also features a club store. It is the perfect location to get replica jerseys and other club memorabilia.
