Benzema is back in training after 20 days on the sidelines. The French striker was seen in training with the rest of the squad ahead of the clash with CA Osasuna, according to Mundo Deportivo.

He was taken off the pitch thirty minutes into the game against Celtic in the Champions League and has sat out for three matches, including the UCL clash with RB Leipzig.

The injury also saw omission from the French Men’s National team in the UEFA Nations League.

However, a return to full fitness is expected to boost Real Madrid’s attack ahead of the El Clásico on October 16.

The report obtained by Mundo Deportivo indicates Benzema could be in the squad for the clash with Osasuna at the Santiago Bernabéu on Saturday.

Along with Benzema, other key players that were part of the team include Eden Hazard, Camavinga, Courtois, Tchoauméni, and Mendy.

Asensio and Carvajal were made to rest while Luka Modric worked inside the club’s facilities.

Benzema was the best player and the team leader last season, and Carlo Ancelotti would rely on him for the rest of the season without the need to enter the market.

In his absence, Ancelotti had been successful, fielding the front three of Rodrygo, Vinicius Junior and Fede Valverde, with Hazard sometimes coming on as a substitute.
