Gianluigi Buffon and Giorgio Chiellini has extended their contacts with Juventus Turin. The new contract keeps the duo in at the club for another season.
Juventus Turin can plan with their old champion Gianluigi Buffon and Giorgio Chiellini in the coming season. As the Italian Serie A champion and championship leader announced, the two veterans each extended their expiring contracts by one year until 2021.
The 42-year-old goalkeeper Legend Buffon returned to Juve in summer 2019 after a one-year stay at Paris St. Germain. The 2006 world champion now faces his 19th season at the Bianconeri. In the current round, Buffon has made 13 competitive appearances so far.
At the age of 35, the central defender also belongs to the old iron. This season he only played three games due to a cruciate ligament tear. Obviously, Chiellini is trusted to be able to regain the form of days gone by.
