Bayern Munich Nigerian-born promising talent Joshua Zirkzee is currently linked with a move to Dutch Eredivisie club Heracles Almelo on loan for the rest of the season, but the move has been ruled out.
The 19-year old Bayern Munich sensation was linked with a move on loan to the different club last summer but failed to materialize at the end as the Bundesliga club desperately searches for regular game time for the future star.
Zirkzee broke into the first team in 2019, and last season, he was involved in more games for the first team, which includes starting as the lone striker in the absence of Robert Lewandowski.
Zirkzee made his debut for Bayern during the club’s final group stage Champions League clash with Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur.
He then continued to feature for the team and was called on as a substitute in most Bundesliga games.
This season, the 19-year old Dutch international has managed four appearances including one Champions League game.

However, the array of stars in the team would not let him command a starting shirt and as such, the club wants to make way for him to get the regular minutes elsewhere.
But the recent news from the Netherlands appears to put Zirkzee’s potential move to Heracles in doubt. As per Voetbal, the technical director of Heracles says he is comfortable with the players in his team.
“I believe more in the development of the current group. We are every confidence in that.” said the coach.
The handler believes in the players in the team and as such, there’s no consideration for Zirkzee at the club.
This news comes as a surprise owing to the versatility of the player. Meaning, Bayern Munich has to look elsewhere for their youngster in the winter transfer window.
At Bayern, there are measures in place to make Zirkzee a major successor to the ageing professionals at the club within a short time.
