With the season in Belgium already ended abruptly due to effects of the Coronavirus pandemic, Jonathan David could be taking the next step in his career and the Bundesliga remains his too target.
The 20-year old KAA Gent man had already played his last game for the club during the last game before the league was suspended indefinitely.
“It is time for me to move on and go somewhere where I can develop and fully realize my potential,” said David. His goal is clear: “The league that would suit me best is the Bundesliga.” He told Sky Sport via Fussball Transfers.
His contract at the Belgian club expires in 2023, but the recent interview with Sky Sport indicates he has plans to leave Belgium for a club in Germany yet to be known.
