Joao Palhinha move to Liverpool hindered by Fulham’s 60 million pounds valuation
After missing out on Romeo Lavia and Moises Caicedo, Liverpool are looking for alternatives and has already landed their Ideal option: Joao Palhinha, a Fulham sensation who has attracted interest from the Reds.
Liverpool are looking for reinforcement for its midfield and has identified Joao Palhinha as the best option in the market following Endo’s capture.
According to Daily Mail, cited by Fichajes, The Portuguese midfielder would cost Liverpool around 60 million pounds.
One of Liverpool’s priorities is strengthening their midfield, especially the defensive midfield position. This is due to the recent departure of James Milner, Jordan Henderson, and Fabinho. And these departures have created a vacuum in the team that needs to be filled.
At the moment, Joao Palhinha has been spotted as the Ideal option due to his outstanding defensive capabilities.
But despite Liverpool’s interest, the obstacle would be Fulham’s valuation of the player, which stood at around 60 million pounds. The Reds are looking at the possibility of lowering the asking price for the Portuguese.
