German-born youngster Aaron Opoku is close to joining second Bundesliga side Jahn Regensburg on loan till the end of the season from league leaders Hamburger SV.
And according to Bild as cited by Fussball Transfers, his loan switch from hamburger SV to Regensburg is close to being completed.
Since the start of the new season under new coach Daniel Thioune, the 21-year old winger has found it hard to get regular playtime despite Hamburg’s blistering form.
The reason behind his move; Opoku wants to play regularly and is not willing to play as a second fiddle winger at the start of his career.
His contract with Hamburg is valid until 2024. Last season, he played for Hansa Rostock scoring five goals with six assist in 33 appearances for the German third division club.
Aaron Opuku is a German footballer who has featured for German youth setup. He is expected to hit the ground running as the final papers have been signed.
