Jack Grealish expected to feature in the UEFA Super Cup final against Sevilla
After missing out on the Premier League opener against Burnley at Turf Moor, Jack Grealish is expected to earn a starting berth against Sevilla in the UEFA Super Cup.
The 26-year-old was arguably one of the best players on the team last season, scoring some of the most important goals for the Cityzens.
He was most helpful in the flanks and became a nuisance for the defense with his skills.
Sevilla won the UEFA Europa League last season in the final against AS Roma. The Spanish side are also the most successful team in the competition history, having won seven titles.
The UEFA Super Cup has been a major hurdle for the club as they’ve managed just one time out of the six appearances they have made throughout their history.
Manchester City are looking to complete the season and will approach the game with a strong squad. Last weekend against Burnley, Pep Guardiola featured Phil Foden and Bernardo Silva as the two wide men and left Grealish on the bench.
Perhaps the Spanish tactician is looking to give more game time to everyone.
