Di María is arguably one of the best players in the European continent who have won some of the most significant trophies, including the Champions League.
Currently lacing his boots for Juventus, the Argentine has been rumoured to return to his home club Rosario Central. So the question now pops, if he would leave Juventus in the summer of 2023?
At the end of the season, that is, after hostilities in the World Cup and the rest, Di María is expected to depart Juventus. The problems the club has faced in the current campaign would force the club’s hierarchy to make new reforms that would put the club on the map.
In Argentina, it is thought Rosario Central, one of the most famous teams on the South American continent, is dreaming of Di María.
According to Fichajes, Di María confirmed his desire to play football in Argentina. Although he gave no direction regarding his next destination, it is believed he would most likely land in Rosario Central in the summer of 2023.
“I know it’s difficult, I know there are many things, I have Argentine TV and I live watching everything. I always say it, the dream of everyone who is in Argentine football is to come to Europe, mine -I’m in Europe- is to be able to wear the Central shirt again. I’m not going to hide the reality, I’ve always said it. If I have the opportunity and the desire as I have it, I’d like to be able to be there,” he said.
Ángel Di María has played for some of the biggest European football clubs, including Real Madrid, Manchester United, Benfica and now Juventus.
