Inter Milan striker Joaquin Correa linked with RB Leipzig
Joaquín Correa is expected to head for the exit door this summer after two years at Inter Milan, and his next destination could be Bundesliga side RB Leipzig, according to Fussball Transfers.
The Bundesliga club is looking for a striker and could move for the 29-year-old Argentine forward this summer as an alternative.
Leipzig has previously been linked with Crystal Palace’s 26-year-old forward Jean-Philipp Mateta. However, this appears not to be making headway, as the Eagles would consider keeping the striker.
According to the Italian journalist Alfredo Pedullà, as relayed by Fussball Transfers, RB Leipzig inquired about Joaquín Correa.
The Argentine forward has a contract until the summer of 2025 with the Nerazzurri. But there’s indication he could leave the club in the summer.
RB Leipzig, on the other hand, are looking for an alternative if Yussuf Poulsen leaves the club in the summer. The Danish international has had it difficult to command the starting shirt.
The Saxony-based club witnessed the exit of two key players (Dominik Szoboszlai and Christopher Nkunku) to the Premier League.
