Inter Milan in negotiations with Marseille over Joaquin Correa loan with option to buy
Joaquin Correa’s situation at Inter Milan would finally get fixed this summer, and CalcioMercato via fichajes.com reveals the Nerazzurri are negotiating with Marseille for the Argentine midfielder.
The 29-year is no longer in the plans of Simone Inzaghi at the club, and the only solution would be to seek a new challenge elsewhere.
In his place, Inter Milan would be on the lookout for an offensive-minded player.
Joaquin Correa will join Marseille on loan in the region of 2 to 3 million euros with an option to buy, which would cost the French club 15 million euros.
Interestingly, the option to sign the Argentine permanently would become mandatory if Marseille qualifies for next year’s UEFA Champions League.
Marseille, however, missed out on UCL qualification following the loss to Greek football club Panathinaikos via the spot.
