Hull City will be back in action from July as they prepare for the new season with some warm-up games.

The Tigers have lined up some quality games to put the players in competitive mode ahead of the commencement of the 2023/24 EFL Championship season.

Here is the list of Hull City Pre-season friendlies 2023;

Grimsby Town vs Hull City FC

Date: Saturday 15 July 2023

Venue: Blundell Park

Kickoff time: 3:pm

The Tigers will face Grimsby Town at the 9,002 all-seated stadium in Cleethorpes, North East Lincolnshire.

The last time the pair met was in November 2020 in the Group stages of the Football League Trophy, with the Tigers earning a 3-0 win.

Hull City vs Barnsley

Date: Tuesday 18th July 2023

Venue: MKM Stadium

Kickoff time: 7:45 pm

Hull City and Barnsley will face off at the MKM Stadium multi-purpose facility in Kingston upon Hull.

This would be the Tigers’ second warm-up game ahead of the new season.

However, Barnsley could not make it through the EFL League One playoffs as they fell to Sheffield Wednesday in the final at Wembley.

Bradford City vs Hull City 

Date: Saturday, 22 July 2023

Venue: Valley Parade

Kick-off time: 3:pm

Hull City’s third pre-season friendly would be against EFL League Two side Bradford. It will take place at the 25,136 Valley Parade stadium in Bradford, West Yorkshire.

Last season, Bradford City fell to Carlisle United in the League Two semi-final playoffs on a 3-1 aggregate scoreline.

Bradford City and Hull City FC’s last meeting was in August 2022 in the EFL Cup first round, which ended in a 2-1 win for The Bantams.
