Hugo Lloris’s replacement Guiglelmo Vicario could cost Tottenham Hotspur 19 million euros
Tottenham Hotspur goalie Hugo Lloris is in the last years of his contract with no signs of renewal in sight. Now the club has identified a new goalkeeper from the Italian Serie A as a full replacement for the 36-year-old.
The Spurs have identified 26-year-old Empoli goalkeeper Guiglelmo Vicario as a replacement for the French goalkeeper.
The North London club has tried to find a suitable replacement for the 36-year-old with the arrival of Joe Hart, Pierluigi Gollini, and Paulo Gazzaniga.
But now everything points out that the club would try to sign Guiglelmo Vicario from Empoli in the summer. The Guardian and Sky Sports had revealed that the club and the player had reached a verbal agreement.
Apart from Tottenham Hotspur, the 26-year performance last season in the Serie A had attracted interest from Juventus, Roma, and Inter Milan.
However, Spurs appear to be ahead, with Fichajes.com reporting the club’s latest for Vicario stands at €19 million.
