The United States (USMNT) will tackle the El Tri of Mexico in the inaugural Allstate Continental Clásico. The game at the University of Phoenix Stadium will be the 75th meeting between the two sides.

It is surprising to hear the two North American football giants meet outside the International window. As a result, only but few European-based players would be present in the friendly.

What is ‘The Allstate Continental Clásico’  about? It is an annual competition that will involve the U.S. Men’s National Team coming up against national teams from North, Central, or South America, according to the US Soccer website.

This will be the first edition on April 19 in the US.
