Bundesliga action continues this weekend as Augsburg tackles Bayer Leverkusen at WWK Arena in round nineteen.

Host Augsburg has struggled with form lately, recording three defeats, a draw, and just one win from five games. The Fuggerstädter are only two points adrift of the drop zone.

Bayer Leverkusen on the other hand are in mid-table (9th position). The resurgence since the appointment of Xabi Alonso as head coach was finally over following the defeat to Borussia Dortmund at home last weekend.

Before the loss, Leverkusen was on a five-game winning streak including the 5-0 thrashing of Union Berlin which dealt a significant blow to Union’s grip at the top of the league table.
