The Union Youth Player Pathway Program (PPP) and Player Development Program (PDP) were created to provide high-level training and development opportunities to advanced youth players seeking additional training outside their clubs.
It is more like an external training program to help the players adapt quickly to the game.
Players participating in the program would still be a part of the Philadelphia Union Academy player identification. The Union Youth PPP and PDP are two separate programs.
PPP is a high-level program for players already at an advanced stage of their development. Players who already compete, train or coach at an advanced level or play for other Youth soccer clubs.
The PDP, on the other, is a developmental training environment to provide technique and game understanding for young players willing to move up to an advanced stage. The programs are available to boys and girls ages U8-U14.
Players would be taught professionally with age-appropriate training based on the Philadelphia Union Academy curriculum and methodology.
Note: The PPP operates year-round and is organised in the fall, winter, spring and summer seasons.
Philadelphia Union runs alongside Affiliate clubs to scout for players in its Academy.
