Jude Bellingham market value, is he leaving Dortmund in January
According to Transfermarkt, Jude Bellingham is worth £81.00m based on the current assessment. The young English midfielder is thought to be one of the most coveted players by the top European football clubs. He is one also one of the most valuable players in world football.
However, what seems to be a debate is the future of the footballer. As things stand, the 19-year-old has a contract with Borussia Dortmund until the summer of 2025. There have been no talks about an extension, and Dortmund has made clear their intentions of keeping the player beyond next summer.
In Germany, there are perceptions Jude Bellingham could leave the country’s top flight with the right offer on the table. But what seems not to be clear is the player’s intentions.
What price could Bellingham leave Dortmund?
A recent report by Give Me Sport suggests Jude Bellingham could cost £150m for clubs interested in securing his services at all costs in the summer. Although Dortmund has stated their intentions not to let the midfielder leave, a massive fee could see them sell the player.
£150m is massive for a youngster. But Bellingham has shown to be worth a fortune due to his exploits with Borussia Dortmund. His personal had led to his position as captain of the club in the Champions League, which stands to be a record.
Which club wants to sign Jude Bellingham
Chelsea
Chelsea are in the state of rebuilding since the takeover by American businessman Todd Boehly who’s vowed to make the club one of the European heavyweight. His plans cut across the development of young players along with established players.
Graham Potter, who recently joined the London-based club from Brighton, had been successfully in helping the club maintain their form in the domestic scene and Europe.
Chelsea sees Bellingham as the best option to solve the club’s midfield problems.
Liverpool
According to Liverpool.com, the Reds have identified the Dortmund midfielder as a top priority in the summer. The report from the portal suggests the club would do its best to ensure the signing of the Englishman.
Real Madrid
In our previous article, as revealed by The Telegraph, Real Madrid wants to sign Jude Bellingham now, and it could be in the summer. The Los Blancos are aware of the competition around the player and want to sign him before it becomes too competitive.
His contract would come to an end in 2025. By next summer, he would have only two years left on his contract, which is expected to open the floodgates for potential suitors, and Florentino Pérez wants to avoid such a scenario.
Real Madrid has already begun building for the future, and Bellingham remains a priority for the club as they look to unite the midfielder with Aurélien Tchouaméni, Eduardo Camavinga and Fede Valverde at Santiago Bernabéu.
