The club has its philosophy centered around young players after years of having one of the oldest footballers in Europe ranging from Zinedine Zidane, Roberto Carlos, Delima Ronaldo among others.



Asier Illaremendi popularly known as Illara was a sensation and a promising player at Real Sociedad before making that move to Real Madrid.



According to his comments, he lacked self-confidence in moving to the club.


But since then, he moved back to his former club and had become a key part of the club as a defensive midfielder.


“It’s a whole different world, it’s one of the world’s best clubs and it has nothing to do with Real Sociedad. Illaramendi said as quoted by The Real Champs.


How Asier Illaramendi became a disappointment at Real Madrid was during a UEFA Champions League clash with German Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund.

His mistake cost Real Madrid a second goal in the match.


Illaramendi’s confidence level dropped thereafter, forcing him to seek a return back to his former club.


Illaramendi could continue to be Real Sociedad key players in the years coming.
