The Papers are talking about a dream reunion between Achraf Hakimi and Real Madrid. This comes as the player expressed his desire to return to his former club.
Hakimi joined Paris Saint-Germain from Inter Milan after a sensational start to life in the Italian Serie A. Recently, the Moroccan international extended his contract that would keep him at the club until the summer of 2026.
However, his future is up in the air which comes as a surprise. One of the reasons for heightened tension around the player’s camp was the recent sending-off during PSG’s game against Ajaccio.
According to Fichajes, Hakimi’s desire to leave the Paris-based club is related to the style of play that has been adopted by the manager of the side Christophe Galtier. The French tactician utilizes four defenders at the back which does not favour an attack-minded player.
Hakimi dreams of Real Madrid returning, how possible would that be?
Fichajes reveals another aspect that fuelled this has been some off-the-pitch activities which make it uncomfortable for the Moroccan, not to forget the recent divorce from his Spanish spouse.
Despite this, PSG is unlikely to allow Hakimi to leave the Parc des Princes. The club is expected to try to keep him at the club as they look to rebuild for the future.
