The recent update from Bayern Munich head coach Hansi Flick suggests the Bavarians are working hard to ensure a deal with Chelsea becomes a reality after weeks of heavy speculations.
The German who led his club to a treble last season including two additional trophies in the new season believes the 19-year old winger could join his team before the window closes.
Speaking during a press conference ahead of Sunday’s Bundesliga showdown, Flick did not give a clear verdict as to how his club is working towards bringing the young winger.
However, he highlighted the importance of having him in his team in a manner which suggested a deal could pull through before next week Monday.
“I don’t know what happens. He is one of the greatest talents in this position, ” said the Bayern coach at today’s press conference, ” which is why it is quite legitimate for us as FC Bayern to deal with him.” said the German coach as cited by Fussball Transfers.
Odoi played 83 minutes in Chelsea’s Saturday Premier League early kickoff game with Crystal Palace before leaving the pitch for Christian Pulisic.
