Olivier Giroud will remain with Chelsea for at least another year. As the Blues report, the Londoners already took the option last month to extend the 33-year-old’s expiring working paper for another season. In winter, the French striker was about to transfer to Inter Milan.
Director Marina Granovskaia is happy: “For the club it is clear that Olivier is still a player that we want to have in the squad. Especially since we keep the important balance between first-class experience and the exciting young talents that are available to us. His attitude when asked to play a supporting role was exemplary.
