Geoffrey Kondogbia is to sign contract documents with Marseille soon per Fabrizio Romano
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed the transfer of Central African Republic star Geoffrey Kondogbia from Atletico Madrid to Marseille for 8 million euros. The midfielders will sign the documents with the French club soon.
Kondogbia is heading for the exit door after a lack of minutes kept him on the sidelines. The Rojiblancos had utilized the 30-year-old as a rotation player instead of a starter.

The midfielder’s new deal with Marseille is valid until the summer of 2027, as the club sees him as one of the long-term projects.
Atletico Madrid, on the other hand, will earn 8 million euros in the transfer of the player even as they look to make signings when the summer transfer window opens on July 1st.
Other names linked with a possible move away from the club include Joao Felix and Saul Niguez, who recently had an offer from Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal.
