Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli appears to be causing problems for French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint Germain, who looks desperate to land the Englishman before the window closes on October 5.
The Ligue 1 defending Champions earlier wanted to sign Alli before the window closes. But the current financial constraint caused by the Coronavirus pandemic has affected the club’s plans to ensure the signing of the 24-year old.
The latest surrounding his future proposed move to the French capital club is all about the inability of the club to finance his transfer.
However, the club is now willing to sign Alli on a season-long loan deal with an option to buy at the end.
A report from Fussball Transfers suggests the only conceivable option is to sign him on loan from Tottenham Hotspur. The Englishman who has found it hard to command first-team shirt this season was recently left out of Tottenham Hotspur first-team list by coach Jose Mourinho.
Talks between Paris Saint Germain and Tottenham Hotspur have been difficult as a result of the French club’s financial constraints which could also end in a breakdown in the deal.
Alli at Tottenham Hotspur still has a chance to prove himself. During Mauricio Pochettino’s era, he was an integral member of the first team which earned him a place in the English squad for the 2018 World Cup in Brazil.
