Following Vinicius Junior injury, Anthony Martial has been offered to Real Madrid
One of the most surprising news of the summer transfer window is that Manchester United have offered Anthony Martial to Real Madrid just as the Los Blancos sweat over the injury of Vinicius Junior.
During the 1-0 narrow win over Celta de Vigo on Friday evening, Vinicius Junior was forced out of the pitch and was substituted by Joselu following an injury to his leg.
A lot of eyebrows have been raised following the forced substitution of Vinicius Junior. However, head coach Carlo Ancelotti seems not to be worried about the situation as he sends a strong message regarding the club’s stance on transfers as the market gradually winds down.
But the biggest news this summer, as reported by Defensa Central via Fichajes.net, is the presentation of Anthony Martial to Real Madrid. The Frenchman has been offered to Los Blancos.
Anthony Martial, known for his skills and goal-scoring prowess, has not performed to expectations just as many Manchester United would like to see. And this has led to growing speculation regarding a possible move away from the club.
Martial would be an inexpensive alternative in the transfer market as Transfermarkt values him around 15 million euros.
Real Madrid, on the other hand, are presently working on signing a proper striker, and Kylian Mbappe has been mentioned as a top target. However, a transfer has yet to materialize despite strong links to the club.
For Real Madrid, the presentation of Anthony Martial could be beneficial. An agreement could see the Frenchman join the club on loan without an option to buy.
However, despite this offer, Real Madrid has not made any decision nor made any contact with the player regarding a move to the club.
