Barcelona is the second Spanish team in the all-time FIFA Club World Cup Winners list with three titles.

 

Although the Catalan club was the first club from Spain to win the FIFA Club World Cup, the club was quickly overshadowed by a commanding performance by Real Madrid to take home three more titles.

 

Barcelona’s first title was in 2009 after losing its first final in 2006.

However, In late 2017, there were proposals to expand the competition to 24 teams and play it every four years beginning from 2021.
