FC Sheriff Tiraspol welcomes Israeli Premier League side Maccabi Haifa FC to the Bolshaya Sportivnaya Arena as the 2023/24 UCL enters the second-round qualifying series.

Sheriff became the first-ever Moldovan side to reach the group stages of the UEFA Champions League in 2021–22.
