Following the 3-1 loss in Scotland in the first leg, Luzern will be looking to overturn the result at home with a place in the next round at stake.

Luzern was overwhelmed by a dominant Hibs side that had most of the possession in the second half to win the tie at home. Joe Newell opened the scoring for Hibs before Beka drew level for the Swiss football club. However, a five-star performance was enough to secure the win.

Ahead of Thursday’s fixture, Luzern played a draw with BSC Young Boys in the domestic league as eyes are on the midweek action.

Hibs, on the other hand, holds the advantage going into the second. A favourable result would be enough to advance to the next round.

Hibs lost to Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership last weekend in a tactical approach by the team’s head coach.
