On Monday, Everton will play Wolverhampton Wanderers at Goodison Park as the Premier League returns.
This season, the hosts’ performances have been inconsistent, but they particularly suffered before the international break. Everton lost to Bournemouth 4-1 in the third round of the Carabao Cup before falling to them 3-0 in the league four days later. Everton has 14 points after 15 games and is ranked 17th in the league.
Wolves, however, have had a terrible season, which led to Bruno Lage’s firing as manager. The Wanderers defeated Gillingham 2-0 in the League Cup earlier this week under the direction of new manager Julen Lopetegui. They are at the bottom of the standings with just two wins in 15 games.

Prediction
Everton 0-1 Wolverhampton Wanderers
Everton has only won one of their past seven games and has lost two straight league games. Wolves have lost four of their previous five league contests and will aim to start life under Lopetegui on a high note. Since both teams are struggling, the Wolves, under their new manager, could win this one.
