Erik ten Haag prioritizing Andre Onana signing as United prepare a big offer for the Cameroonian
Manchester United boss Erik ten Haag is choosing his goalkeeper for next season as he looks into the future. Now Fichajes are reporting the Dutchman is prioritizing the signing of Andre Onana over David De Gea and is willing to offer money for the Cameroon goalkeeper.
Inter Milan, on the other hand, is looking for money as the economic situation takes a toll on some of the big sides in Europe. The Nerazzurri could be open to selling the 26-year-old in the summer.
According to Fichajes, Inter Milan’s valuation of the goalkeeper starts from 40 to 50 million euros. The Cameroonian, who arrived last summer from Ajax, has established himself as one of the best goalkeepers in Europe and was instrumental in the team’s success last season.
This could be a good move for United if the deal comes to fruition. The Red Devils earned a place in the UCL next season, but a recent shake-up in the Premier League means a formidable squad would be the only solution for making the top four.
And Erik ten Haag wants to find a quick solution to this by signing key players that would bolster the team. Andre Onana is regarded as one of the best goalkeepers, and the Premier League could be a good fit for his career.
Fichajes reveals Manchester United’s big offer for Andre Onana could be around 50 million euros, making him one of the most expensive goalkeepers in the Italian Serie A.
For Man United, the objective is to fight for the Premier League title, and one of the ways is to strengthen the team.
