Enrique Cerezo denies Atlético Madrid swapping João Félix for Antoine Griezmann at Barcelona amid media reports.

President of Atlético Madrid Enrique Cerezo has denied the reports making the rounds of a possible swap deal between Atlético Madrid and Barcelona involving João Félix and Antoine Griezmann.

Atlético Madrid is on the verge of lifting the Spanish La Liga title if the final fixture comes out in their favour.

However, the other news making the rounds is about a possible swap deal which would see João Félix move to Barcelona with an exchange for Antoine Griezmann who is a former player before switching to the Catalans.

According to the club president, João Félix will be the best player that will ever step into the shoes of the Frenchman who left the club for a bigger offer from Barcelona.

“Joao Félix is going to be one of the best players to ever step on any pitch. Griezmann wants to play for Barça and Joao for Atleti ” said Enrique Cerezo, Atlético Madrid’s president.
