Emanuel Emegha scores first professional career goal for Sparta Rotherham
Dutch footballer Emanuel Emegha scores his first professional career goal for his sides important 3-0 bashing of Vitesse at home.
The 18-year old footballer was on target on the 80th minutes of the game to complete Sparta Rotherham victory at the Sparta Stadion.
Bryan Smeets got on the end of a pass and finished the ball into an empty net with a close-range header to give the home side the lead in the 36th minute.
A well-timed corner kick taken by Bryan Smeets went into a dangerous area and fell nicely for Lennart Thy who outjumps the opposition defence to head home the second goal in the 77th minute.
Emanuel Emegha came on as a substitute for Mijnans in the 73rd minute earlier before Rotherham’s second goal.
Left-back Aaron Meijers played an impressive pass into the 18+yard box of Vitesse, luckily it fell nicely for Emanuel Emegha who took a close-range striker to increase Sparta Rotherham lead to three goals.
This goal for Emanuel is his first-ever senior career goal for Sparta Rotherham.
Speaking after the game, the Dutch footballer expressed happiness for the goal scored which is his first professional career goal for the club.
“I am also really very happy, long worked towards this moment,” he told Sparta TV after the game.

The 18-year old Dutch footballer also has Nigerian and Togolese roots.
The comfortable win over Vitesse has helped Sparta Rotherham advance towards the top half of the league table.
