Eintracht Frankfurt eyes Anthony Modeste as a replacement for Randal Kolo Muani
The departure to the French club was made official yesterday, and Eintracht Frankfurt already made a lot of money following the sale, which cost around 95 million euros, including bonuses.
Now, the club is looking for a replacement for the Frenchman. According to FT, Anthony Modeste is considered one of the best candidates to replace the French forward at the club.
The club knows the 35-year-old who can add quality to the squad. However, last season, he was at Borussia Dortmund and failed to impress and eventually an end to his career at the club.
Although Eintracht Frankfurt are looking for a striker, it does not necessarily mean the signing of Anthony Modeste would be the game changer. Instead, he would serve as backup for Jessic Ngankam.
