Eduardo Camavinga hails the connection with Aurélien Tchouaméni after Getafe win
Eduardo Camavinga spoke to the media, as cited by Mundo Deportivo after Real Madrid triumphed over Getafe on the road. Éder Militão’s third-minute goal separated the two sides as the Los Blancos took back the leadership of the La Liga
Eduardo Camavinga acknowledged facing a difficult team like Getafe and was happy with the victory in the end despite getting the result by a single goal from a defender.
“a difficult victory and we are very happy with the three points achieved”.
Camavinga also commented on the partnership with Aurélien Tchouaméni in the team.
“Tchouaméni and I are two complete players. When we’re on the pitch at the same time, we look at each other a lot. If I see that it’s going up, I stay behind. We’re starting to understand each other,” said the Frenchman, as cited by Mundo Deportivo.
Regarding his starting place, Camavinga pointed out that “a player always wants to play every game from the start, but that’s not always possible. The important thing is to show the coach that you are capable of being a starter and to show your desire to have minutes. Now we have a Champions League game next Tuesday (against Shakhtar away), and then we’ll focus on the game against Barcelona.
Real Madrid will take on Shakhtar Donetsk in the reverse fixture in the UCL Tuesday night at the Polish Army Stadium in Poland, the temporary home for the Ukrainian Premier League club.
The El Clásico will take place on Sunday, five days after Real Madrid rerun’s from their trip to Poland.
