Eden Hazard’s market value drops below an expected level
After a record transfer from Chelsea to Real Madrid in 2019, Eden Hazard had failed to live up to expectations. The Belgian had struggled with injuries and match fitness which had resulted in a significant decrease in his performance.
The Belgian was priced at more than 100 million euros, but due to his struggles, his market value has dropped to 12 million euros which are far below expectations for the Belgian.
According to Mundo Deportivo, his valuation had decreased significantly, but he wants to improve himself despite his current situation at the club.
As per the Spanish outlet, in a brief interview, Hazard wants to play and reverse his situation at the club, but the opportunity isn’t the same as the time of his arrival at the club.
“I want to play, and I don’t play,” said Eden Hazard, as cited by Mundo Deportivo.
He was introduced thirty minutes into the game against Celtic following the exit of Karim Benzema due to injury.
Ancelotti handed the Belgian a start in the 4-1 win over Mallorca at the Bernabéu but was dropped to the bench in the next two games against RB Leipzig and Atletico Madrid.
