Leipzig wants to ensure a more robust and formidable squad after key players departed the club for bigger offers during the winter transfers window.
However, the Saxony based club is targeting Dominik Szoboszlai at Red Bull Salzburg. As reported by Bild as cited by Fussball Transfers, the signing of the Hungarian is likely in the summer.
But club sporting director Markus Krösche is not willing to reveal plans by the club for the winter transfers window. “We always deal with young, talented players,” said Markus in an interview with Bild.
The 19-year old from Hungary has been kicking the ball for Salzburg even after the departure of notable names like Naby Keita, Hwang Hee-Chan, Dayot Upamecano and Peter Gulacsi.
Szoboszlai moved from FC Liefering in 2018 to Salzburg. Since then, he’s turned himself to an integral member of the squad.
