Dominik Szoboszlai express happiness after RB Leipzig contract extension
RB Leipzig Hungarian star Dominik Szoboszlai has expressed his happiness after extending his contract with the club.
Dominik Szoboszlai’s contract was further extended to another year with the initial contract which was due to expire in 2025.
However, the new extension will see the Hungarian remain with the Saxony based club until 2026.
The Hungarian is currently looking at a long term stay with the Bundesliga club.
Shortly after signing the contract extension papers, the Hungarian could not hide his happiness as published by the club’s official website.
“Of course I imagined the first six months at RB Leipzig to be different. The aim was to be able to help the team on the pitch during the second half of the season, which unfortunately didn’t work out.”
“The injury has now been healed; I’ll be able to fully attack for the new season and I’m dying for the coming season. The early extension in this difficult phase is another strong sign and underlines that we want to make a difference and be successful together in the long term.”
Szobozlai is expected to return to full fitness ahead of the new football season in Germany.
