Cyle Larin is in the summer transfer market as three La Liga clubs battle for his signature
The future of the Canadian soccer star is up in the air following the relegation of Real Valladolid to the Spanish second division. And now he is attracting interest from top teams.
Perhaps one of the best ways to announce your arrival is with a standout performance, and the 28-year was impressive despite spending six months in the Spanish La Liga before the team’s relegation.
He joined the club on loan from Belgian side Club Brugge and now looks to stay at Valladolid following the club’s decision to exercise the purchase option in the agreement worth 1.5 million euros.
However, this does not mean he will remain at the club for next season. Instead, Real Valladolid plans to sell the Canadian in the summer at a higher price. According to Fichajes, three La Liga teams (Real Sociedad, Valencia, and Villarreal) want to sign the striker.
But despite this interest in the Canadian, there’s a catch: he earns around 2.5 million annual salary and will be open to clubs willing to pay this amount.
His salary is high, and clubs looking to get his signature must be willing to meet his demands. But the bright side, he was one of the standout players in the league last season and will add value to any team. According to statistics, he scored eight goals and provided three assists.
